1. their Real name is Albert Rothstein, he first appeared in the comic The All-Star Squadron #25 which was released in September 1983.
The character created by Roy Thomas and Jerry Ordway initially debuted in the comics using the identity of Nuklon. Albert’s appearance as Nuklon is also so eccentric with his mohawk hair. While still a Nuklon, Albert was a member of the Infinity, Inc. team, then served in the Justice League. Albert first used the identity of Atom Smasher in the comic Kingdom Come #2 which was released in June 1996.

In the comics, Albert is told as the godson of Al Pratt’s version of Atom. But in Black Adam, Al is told as Albert’s uncle. The costume that Atom Smasher wears in Black Adam is also said to be a legacy from Atom.
